Open Morning - Thursday 22 September 2022 - 10.30am to 12.30pm

The College is holding an Open Morning on Thursday 
22 September 2022 from 10.30am to 12.30pm. As this is a normal working day our Year 8 and 9 pupils will be acting as tour guides for prospective families. Incoming Headmaster, Grove du Toit, will also be on hand to to chat to visitors.

Year 6 Taster Days - Tuesday 13 September, Thursday 15 September 2022 and Tuesday 27 September 2022

The College is offering Taster Days for Year 6 pupils who have not yet had the chance to attend a Taster Day. Our Taster Days typically involve four lessons, a question and answer session with some of our current pupils and the chance to talk to Mr Hester, the Headmaster.

Parents' Online Admissions Q&A Session - Tuesday 20 September - 6.30pm to 7.30pm

As well as the in person Open Morning and Taster Days the College's Admissions Team is also holding a Parents' Online Q & A session on Tuesday 20 September from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.

This is a really useful opportunity for parents to ask our Admissions Team questions relating to the admissions process and Entrance Examinations Day in an informal forum before the registration deadline of Friday 30 September.

Those wishing to register for the Entrance Examinations should do so by the deadline of Friday 30 September 2022 to facilitate the gathering of references from junior schools. Registration forms are available to download from the Admissions page on the website here.

Saturday 24 September - 9.30am to 2.00pm

If your son or daughter is a budding Scientist who loves getting hands-on with experiments, then sign them up for our Year 6 Science Investigators Workshop on Saturday 24 September.

The College’s new £8m Science Centre, which is due to open in 2023, is progressing well and the Science Department can’t wait to share some of their favourite Chemistry, Physics and Biology practicals with our young visitors.

Aimed at children who do not currently attend a Princethorpe Foundation School, the morning will involve a variety of fun, practical Science sessions, assisted by our Sixth Form helpers. There will also be time for a break including the legendary Princethorpe cookie. The morning will round off with our investigators re-joining their parents for a complimentary buffet lunch in the Refectory.

Thursday 29 September 2022 - 6.30pm to 8.00pm

Crackley Hall School and Little Crackers Nursery in Kenilworth, are hosting a dedicated Nursery, Reception and Year 3 Open Evening on Thursday 29 September from 6.30pm.

This Open Evening is aimed at prospective families with children wishing to join Little Crackers Nursery, Reception or Junior 3 in September 2023 and beyond. 

The evening will be split into two sessions with the first session dedicated to those looking for Nursery and Reception places and the second session dedicated to those looking for Junior 3 places. This is a perfect opportunity to see the school and talk to key members of staff who will be teaching and supporting your child.

The Crescent School is holding a dedicated evening for prospective families wishing to join Reception or Year 3 in September 2023 and beyond on Tuesday 4 October.

The Evening will have specific presentations depending on which year group you are looking to join the school. There will also be opportunities to look around the school, visit specialist classrooms, such as the Science Lab and IT Suite, as well as speak to key members of staff. Joe Thackway, Headmaster, will also be available to answer any of your questions you may have about the school.

Sixth Form Open Evening - Wednesday 12 October 2022 - 6.30pm to 9.00pm

The College is holding a Sixth Form Open Evening on Wednesday 12 October from 6.30pm to 9.00pm for Year 11 pupils and their parents considering joining the College's Sixth Form in September 2023.

The evening will focus on the key events and dates in the Sixth Form application process as well as specific A-level and BTEC subject information and advice and general information on the Sixth Form experience at Princethorpe.

Sixth Form Taster Day - Tuesday 6 January 2022 - 9.30am to 5.00pm and Thursday 19 January 2023 9.30am to 5.00pm

Following the Sixth Form Open Evening external Year 11 candidates can attend a Sixth Form Taster Day, which are offered in December and January.

These are informal opportunities for small groups of prospective Sixth Formers to visit the College for a selection of A-level subject taster lessons, a Q&A session with current Sixth Formers, lunch, a tour of school and a meeting with the Head of Sixth Form.

Entrance Examinations for Year 7 to 10 entry to Princethorpe College in September 2023 will take place on Saturday 5 November 2022 from 9.30am to 3.30pm.

Sunday 27 November - 2.00pm to 4.30pm

The Princethorpe College PTA annual Christmas Fair takes place this year on Sunday 27 November from 2.00pm – 4.30pm.  It's a great opportunity to come and experience the magic of Princethorpe as well as stock up on the perfect gift for that special someone.

Organised by the College's fantastic Parent Teacher Association the Fair offers Christmas carols, mulled wine and a dazzling array of Christmas craft stalls. Whether visiting Santa or simply stocking up on presents, the Fair has something for all of the family.

All are most welcome!

The OPs' events calendar offers plenty of opportunities for past pupils, former parents, staff and friends of the College and the Foundation schools to catch up.

This year's calendar features some of our regular favourites including the popular London Meet on Friday 30 September once again in Covent Garden. Our spring meet moves back to Leamington at The Royal Pug on Friday 10 March and the Summer Supper Reunion will take place on Friday 23 June, this time celebrating the leavers of 1973, 1983, 1993, 2003 and 2013, although leavers of other years are also most welcome.

All alumni, former staff and parents of Princethorpe College, St Bede's, St Mary's Priory, St Joseph's School, Crackley Hall, Abbotsford and Crescent School are welcome to participate in any or all of the events.
